New Mexico Four Elements Experience

Connect with nature and revitalize your mind, body and spirit with this awe inspiring excursion into the senses. Over the course of four days, we will guide you through the four elements...Earth, Air, Fire and Water...for a truly transformative Experience. Accommodations included.

Day 1: Earth I Santa Fe

Engage with an expert guide of Northern New Mexico's terrain with Santa Fe Mountain Adventures' Wild West Safari. As you hike on sacred land, you learn about the history of our Native Peoples through stories and petroglyphs, with a rare opportunity to see wild horses among the remnants of a petrified forest. Part 4x4 adventure, part hiking...this connection with Earth will not only ground you...it will change you.

Next, book a healing session at the Santa Fe Salt Cave. An exquisite experience, lying back in a zero gravity chair, surrounded by pink Himalayan pink salt crystals and soothing music.

For dinner, enjoy the earthy Italian fare at Andiamo...where all the ingredients are locally sourced. "We prepare the finest, local and seasonal ingredients a la minute with the utmost care and respect. Our menu is inspired by Italian cuisine, but as food is born of the region, we try to stay true to our relationships with local growers. For that reason, we’ve continuously nurtured a strong connection between the Santa Fe Farmers Market and our kitchen — melding indigenous foods whenever possible, with key Italian imports. We crave these earthy, effortless flavors long after the meal has ended."

Where to stay: La Fonda on the Plaza. Start your vacation in Santa Fe and experience the allure of old world charm at one of the best Santa Fe hotels in New Mexico, where tasteful, modern conveniences blend with the warmth of authentic New Mexican style. We recommend booking a minimum of two nights.

A trip on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway transports you above deep canyons and breathtaking terrain a distance of 2.7 miles. See some of nature’s more dramatic beauty unfold before you. The vantage point from the observation deck atop 10,378 foot Sandia Peak in the Cibola National Forest affords an 11,000 square-mile panoramic view of the Rio Grande Valley and the Land of Enchantment. Located on the eastern edge of Albuquerque in the Sandia Foothills at the end of Tramway Road.

Once uptop the Sandia Mountain, have lunch at TEN 3 Restaurant. With both a Fine Dining and Casual Dining option, TEN 3 is poised to join the area’s distinct, burgeoning culinary landscape. Enjoy incredible views of the mountains while you dine.

Drive back to Santa Fe and have dinner at Apothecary Restaurant & Oxygen Bar.
