Here's a list of great things to do with the family while visiting Santa Fe. It's designed to get you out into our beautiful mountains within minutes of checking in, while balancing the day with outstanding Santa Fe cuisine and family fun!


Offers light hiking around the foothills of the Sangre de Cristos Mountains. Enjoy breath taking views, and exhilarating mountain air. Parking is free and ample.


Following trail markers #1 through #9 (in that order) This is a 2.5 mile loop. Give yourself about an hour and a half to complete the course.


Be sure to pack power bars, water, maybe a journal and a camera/phone. If you are experiencing high elevation symptoms, you can purchase a can of oxygen at Walgreens, downtown.

Violet Crown Santa Fe




Violet Crown customers who purchase a movie ticket may receive up to 4 hours of free parking in The Railyard parking garage, located adjacent to the cinema. Garage entrance is located on Camino de la Familia Street.


Please bring your parking ticket with you inside the cinema and a staff member will validate.
